Navarre St., South Bend, IN 46616 <br />Owners: Tom & Mary Casteel <br />April 5, 2021 <br />Project Description: Various modifications to the North (rear) elevation and the East (side) <br />elevation of the existing house including the following: <br />1.Remove the existing enclosed back porch at the rear of the house. <br />2.Remove the existing basement door at the rear of the house and infill with wood siding, <br />glass block and brick foundation wall to match existing. <br />3.Install new back door at the rear of the house (3'-0” x 6'-8”). <br />4.Install new double hung windows at the first floor rear of the house (3ea 2'-0” x 3'-4”). <br />5.Remove existing casement windows and install new double hung windows in the <br />existing openings at the second floor rear of the house (10ea 2'-0” x 3'-0”, 1ea 2'-0” x <br />2'-6”). <br />6.Remove existing single hung window at East elevation and infill with wood siding to <br />match existing. <br />7.Remove existing single hung window at East Elevation. Install new window sill 22” <br />above existing sill, install new wood siding to match existing and new double hung <br />window. <br />Front of House (North Elevation):
