BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 7 Q jn <br /> AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE ANNUAL SALARY OF THE <br /> CITY CLERK FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1989. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Council is required by the Indiana law to set the annual compensation <br /> of all elected City officers. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL, as <br /> follows: <br /> SECTION I: The City Clerk of the City of South Bend shall be paid from <br /> the General Fund the following annual salary for the calendar year 1989: <br /> 1989: $31,849 <br /> SECTION II: The City Clerk shall publish this ordinance twice in two (2) <br /> English language newspapers of general circulation at least thirty (30) days prior <br /> to the date of the final passage by the Common Council. <br /> SECTION III: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. <br /> • <br /> 4 <br /> /��W <br /> .��-i.�_ <br /> , , <br /> W7,ear , 40, ----_- <br />
