Main St. <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Meehan: <br /> <br />At its April 13, 2021 meeting, the Board of Public Works approved your application for <br />a Sidewalk Café Permit outside your establishment at 111 N. Main St., provided you adhere to <br />the important regulations discussed in the onsite meeting your business participated in with City <br />personnel: <br /> <br />1. The Sidewalk Café must allow proper ADA clearance from obstructions per the <br />City’s ordinance. <br />2. The Sidewalk Café must allow proper separation from the bike lane. <br /> <br />Enclosed please find a copy of the Agreement for your records. <br /> <br />Please be reminded that the City has updated its Sidewalk Café to incorporate the updates <br />made to the Sidewalk Café ordinance. I have enclosed a courtesy copy of the new agreement for <br />your convenience. Kindly fill it out and return it to lhensley@southbendin.gov to partake in the <br />new two-year permit duration. <br /> <br />If you have any further questions, please call this office at (574) 235-9251.
