Attachment A - Where a 'NO' has been indicated on the bid specs.
Machine Capacity: 45"+ diameter capacity
Opening at mill: 59.5"high x 60" wide
Dimensions: Length:47'-1"
Width: 9'-10"
Height: 12'-5"
Weight: approx. 87,360 lbs. with a C27 engine
Frame: Uni-body constructed tubular steel frame with a tensile strength of 58,000 PSI
Axles: (3) Triple -axle air brake axles
Tires and Rims: (6) super single floatation tires mounted on aluminum rims
Infeed Conveyor: Dimensions: 16'-6" x 60" wide live floor equipped with four strands of WDH-120
chain in a staggered configuration with variable speed capacity. Powered by a
Poclain torque hub drive.
Feed Wheel: Dimensions: (1) 40" diameter x 60" wide top compression feed roller with
internal Poclain torque hub drive with variable speed capacity. Additional
crushing power obtained by adding hydraulic down pressure.
Cutter Mill: Dimensions: 42" x 66" hammermill system constructed of (16) 1" thick laser -cut
rotor plates to ensure precision and enforce steel strength. The plates are keyed
on an 9" diameter rotor shaft with (2) 5.19" Dodge bearings on both ends of the
rotor and eight 3" hammer retaining rods. Hammermill pattern has (18) 3.75"
wide double-edged replaceable inserts and 18 rakers. Hammermill turns in an
upward direction to provide increased material flow through screening area.
Drive: (2) 8V banded Kevlar belts with an independent belt tensions system
and access into the belt guarding to check tension.
Screening area: 5406 square inches
Gate: no hydraulic gate is used in the Morbark grinding chamber. Hydraulic gates drift open and the
desired product becomes comtaminated with oversized material.
Screens: (4) replacable concave screens (variety of sizes available). Screens are changed by the
whole back half of the grinding chamber hydraulically hinging out of the way with access
to the top of the screens for easy removal.
Winch: no winch is necessary with the access available to the screens.
