B. Additions: <br />1. Payments will be made every thirty (30) calendar days. <br />2. There will be NO Retainage. <br />3. Contractor shall invoice using the same nomenclature as specified in the bid proposal for <br />all items. <br />XIV. DIVISION A: PCC MATERIALS <br />A. Prevailing specifcations/INDOT Standard Specifcation Section: 213, 502, 504, 506, 901, 904, <br />912,913 <br />8. Additions: <br />1. Non -chloride accelerator shall be added to Class A Concrete or Class A High Early <br />Concrete at the City's request. <br />a. Each unit of non -chloride accelerator shall correspond to the quantity of additive <br />required to obtain the specified composition (0.5%, 1 %, or 2%) per cubic yard of <br />concrete. <br />b. The <br />payment for adding <br />the non -chloride <br />accelerator will be made for each cubic <br />yard <br />of concrete with the <br />additive <br />ordered. <br />2. The requirements for 7 Bag PCC Material are as follows: <br />a. The fine aggregate shall be at least 35%but not more than 45% of the total weight <br />of the aggregate in each cubic yard. Proportions will be based upon SSD <br />aggregates. <br />b. The CMD shall produce workable concrete mixtures, with the minimum amount of <br />water, having the following properties: <br />Minimum <br />Portland <br />cement content <br />6581bslcu <br />yd <br />Maximum <br />water/cement ratio <br />0,45 <br />Minimum <br />Slump <br />2 in. <br />Air Content <br />6.5% +1- 1.5% <br />Minimum <br />Flexural <br />Strength, third point loading <br />30OPSI @ <br />24hr <br />Minimum <br />Flexural <br />Strength, third point loading <br />50OPSI @ 3 <br />days <br />3. Delivery cost <br />shall <br />be included in <br />the <br />unit cost for each <br />of the following line items within <br />this Division: <br />A-1, <br />A-2, A-3, A-4, <br />and <br />A-5. <br />XVI.
