846 FOREST AVE <br /> <br />Porch Repair/Rebuild: <br />• Deconstruct the current porch removing all decking <br />• Level out porch base <br />• Repair porch apron and re-deck the porch with treated boards. We will enclose the ends <br />of the deck boards with mitered edges the connect to the apron for clean, neat <br />appearance See photo for example of mitered edges of porch and how the deck boards <br />will sit within the apron <br /> • Repair where needed, and reinstall porch columns <br />• Repair where needed, and reinstall porch railing <br />• Rebuild stairs <br />• Build handrails to match the style of the porch railing <br />We plan to reuse as much of the original materials as possible but some pieces are past <br />restoration and must be replaced. There is little left of the original decking. Our goal is to build <br />a sturdier version of the current porch. The goal is to maintain the general appearance of the <br />current porch <br /> <br />Brick Walkway Repair <br />• Remove and repair the brick walkway that runs behind the house extending it an <br />additional 10 feet to reach the porch steps on the south side of the house. Plan to <br />remove current bricks, level the area and replace walkway using saved bricks filling in <br />with new matching bricks as needed <br /> <br /> <br />Window/Siding Repairs <br />• Repair and replace moldy window sashes and rotted siding boards as needed. Repairs <br />and replacements will be in the same style and using the materials as those we remove <br />
