Certificate of Appropriateness <br />a) 61609 Bremen Hwy. - LL <br />Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen reported staff approved owner's <br />request to replace chimney above roof with in -kind <br />materials and to replace and rebuild original porch with <br />in -kind materials pending receipt of original photo and <br />building plans. <br />b) 1712 E. Wayne - EW <br />Mr. Poland reported staff approved owner's request for a <br />new storm door on side entrance. <br />c) 325 S. Sunnyside - EW <br />Mr. Poland reported staff approved owner's request to <br />plant 2 maple trees in Sunnyside treelawn. <br />d) 1246 E. Jefferson - EW <br />Ms. Jentoft-tali ls.en reported staff approved owner's <br />request to remove 2 trees; 1 dead elm in treelawn as <br />ordered by the Parks Department, and i dead blue spruce <br />in side yard and to replace them in -kind. <br />e) 14912 Brick Rd. - District No. I Schoolhouse - LL <br />Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen reported that the County Engineer <br />inspected the above property and made a preliminary <br />report that the walls of the schoolhouse were <br />structurally stable and able to withstand rebuilding. <br />Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen stated that the owner has done some <br />bracing of the walls as ordered by the County Building <br />Commissioner. <br />Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen also stated that the staff has <br />petitioned the County Council for a temporary demolition <br />delay of up to 1 year in order to prepare a preservation <br />plan for the property. Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen announced <br />first reading will be on October 11. <br />October 10, 1988 PACE 2 <br />
