The bidders <br />ranked as follows: <br /> <br />Bidder Base Bid Alternate 1 Total (Base Bid + <br />Alternate 1) <br />1. Rieth-Riley <br />Construction Co. $280,901.52 $13,672.80 $294,574.32 <br />2. Larson Danielson <br />Construction Co. $334,752.45 $18,065.60 $352,818.05 <br />3. Milestone <br />Contractors North $336,500.00 $19,840.00 $356,340.00 <br />4. R. Yoder <br />Construction $361,658.00 $14,000.00 $374,658.00 <br /> <br />The following comments reflect Engineering and JPR’s further review of the bids and error <br />detection: <br />1. Larson Danielson had two small math errors in their bid form. Line Item 8 read PCCP for <br />Approach, Reinforced, 120 SYD, $49.25 with total amount of $5,591, where the total <br />amount should have been $5,910. The second error was the Total Base Bid number <br />$335,327, with the adjusted Line Item 8 for PCCP the total should read $334,752.45. <br />2. The bid totals for Milestone Contractors North and R. Yoder totaled correctly. <br />3. Rieth-Riley had a Base Bid Total of $356,710.42, which did not match the total for Line <br />Items 1-37, a Base Bid Total of $280,901.52. Upon further review, and confirmation with <br />the contractor, it was concluded that Rieth-Riley erroneously included all three alternates <br />into their base bid. <br /> <br />
