<br />Version 5/16/2019 General Conditions - 1 <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br /> <br />STATEMENT OF POLICY <br /> <br /> <br />The Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend has adopted the following policy regarding <br />the receipt of sealed bids: <br /> <br /> <br />All sealed bids submitted to the Board of Public Works must be <br />received in the Board of Public Works Office, 1316 County-City <br />Building, South Bend, Indiana, no later than the advertise d time on <br />the advertised date of the bid opening. <br /> <br /> <br />It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to see that his/her bid is <br />received prior to the deadline stipulated in the bid advertisement. <br /> <br /> <br />Bids submitted by mail and received after the advertised time <br />deadline will not be considered by the Board. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br /> Anne Fuchs, Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />NOTE: Incoming mail does not reach the Board of Public Works until after 9:30 a.m. Local <br />Time.
