REGULAR MEETING <br />2008 would be accepted and approved. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE REQUEST FOR PROMOTIONS <br />- GRANT BAKER <br />In a letter to the Board, Chief Buchanon recommends the promotion of the above listed Firefighter's <br />ZD <br />to I st Class Firefighters. In his letter Chief Buchanon stated these promotions will be effective May <br />25, 2008 in conjunction with satisfactorily completing one year on the job. Upon a motion by Mr. <br />BonDurant, seconded by Mr. Cottrell and carried, the request for the promotions was accepted and <br />approved. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 29-2008 — COMMENDATION FOR MEMBER OF C-SHIFT, <br />ENGINE 4 <br />U])on a motion made by Mr. BonDurant, seconded by Mr. Cottrell and carried, the following <br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Safety: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 29-2008 <br />Commendation for Tracey Cannady <br />Member of C-Shift Engine 4 <br />'WHEREAS, the Board of Public Safety wishes to issue a commendation to an individual that <br />performed a meritorious service on behalf of the citizens of this community; <br />'WHEREAS, such service shall be recognized by the Board of Public Safety and an <br />appropriate commendation shall be presented to the individual performing the meritorious service-, <br />NOW, THE REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that commendation is given to: <br />Engineer Tracey Cannady <br />t_� <br />
