Upon passage of such <br /> vacation ordinance, the City Clerk shall send a certified <br /> copy to the petitioner. <br /> (f) If the Common Council fails to pass a proposed <br /> vacation ordinance whose petitioner was required to provide <br /> a certified check pursuant to Sec. 18-53.8 (c) (2) , said <br /> check shall be returned to the petitioner. <br /> SECTION II.
