4) Remove aluminum siding from house and garage. This will be preparatory to restoration of <br />the exterior. However, until the siding comes off, it’s difficult to say exactly what will need to <br />happen next. If the wood siding underneath it is in reasonable condition, my first choice will be <br />to make minor repairs and paint it. If it’s not, I’ll consult with the HPC about appropriate <br />options. I also hope to learn more about the house’s former appearance: will look for trim <br />outlines, etc, that might be rebuilt. <br />Current status:
