• <br /> BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. igyy-k7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990-68, AS AMENDED, <br /> COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br /> 1406/1412 SOUTH BEND AVENUE <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The Common Council acknowledges that Article 7 of Chapter 21 of the <br /> Municipal Code of the City of South Bend addresses Rezoning Procedures. <br /> Section 21-118 specifically provides a procedure for a member of the <br /> Council to initiate a rezoning amendment. <br /> The following ordinance is submitted pursuant that Section to rezone <br /> the real estate located at 1406/1412 South Bend Avenue. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows: <br /> Section I . Ordinance No. 4990-68, as amended, which ordinance is <br /> commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br /> be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of <br /> the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph <br /> County, State of Indiana: <br /> Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 in the recorded plat of "Parker and Aliens <br /> Addition" and the Northerly half of the alley lying South <br /> of and adjacent to said Lot 4; Also: Lot "S" in the <br /> recorded plat of "Replat of Parker and Aliens Additional" <br /> all being recorded in the records of St. Joseph County, <br /> Indiana. <br /> be and the same is hereby established as "C" Commercial, "E" Height and <br /> Area. <br /> Section II.
