The standing seam metal and flat <br />seam metal roofing would remain. <br />Then inspect underlying decking thoroughly for any defects which may materially affect the performance of the new <br />roof. Any defects revealed by the removal of the old roofing and insulation for replacement before installing the new <br />system. <br />The replacement system will consist of new insulation, new white 60 mil KEE/PVC blend membrane, and new flashing <br />and sheet metal for a 20 year warranty. <br />The membrane roofing to remain, will be restored by applying a fluid applied coating system. After any needed repairs <br />are completed- the roofing membrane will be cleaned and a base coat of 48 mils of base coat with reinforcement <br />installed. After the base cures, a finish coat will be adhered at 32 mils creating an approximate 140 mil (including <br />the original 60mil membrane). This membrane can be restored at the end of its service life and offers a 20 year full <br />system warranty - including all new and existing components. <br />Insulate Roof Top Ductwork: The existing insulation will be removed and the ductwork inspected. If any defects are <br />found in the ductwork they will be noted for repair and then new polyisocyanurate insulation to be installed on all four <br />sides of the duct. The insulation is then wrapped with a weather-resistant barrier.
