The combination of Don’s experience with the City of South Bend and Ric’s specific project experience on multi-use paths, ADA
requirements and utility coordination will be critical to this project’s success. Recent specific examples of LFA’s success with the City of South Bend or multi-use
path projects include the Olive & Sample Reconstruction Project, the ongoing Bendix Drive Road Reconstruction, LaSalle Trail and the C.R. 8 Multi-Use Path Project.
Having the Team Capacity, Work Type Experience and Team Availability makes the LFA Team the right choice for this project.
LFA Staff Yrs. Adding a project partner like
American Structurepoint to the team provides capacity
by allowing Ric the opportunity to focus on driving
the aforementioned critical schedule items, thus
resulting in a project that is completed on schedule
and in accordance with the contract documents.
The addition of Don Dietz also provides additional
resources to ensure the City’s needs are addressed as
the project progresses.
Work Type Experience
As you will see in the following resumes, the LFA
Team possesses considerable experience in each of
the major project elements. This will ultimately provide
the required insight to supervise and inspect each
major element while identifying potential time and cost
savings measures as the project progresses. Specific
experience in road reconstruction, utility relocation,
drainage, ADA Requirements, signals and architectural
features will be critical.
Team Availability
The LFA PE/PS and identified American
Structurepoint staff have no project commitments for
the 2021 construction season. Although Ric and many
of the LFA staff typically run multiple jobs during any
given year; we will ensure that the LFA Team will be
fully dedicated to the project upon selection. Ensuring
availability also provides consistency of the staff
involved. This consistency will be critical to maintaining
pace on utility relocations and interpretation of ADA
requirements.
Don and Jared’s Involvements:
• Resolution Assistance
• As Needed Progress Meeting Attendance
• Schedule Oversight
