r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ;722? ?..-248' <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $350,000.00 FROM <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT <br /> R & S 8803, VARIOUS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, WITHIN <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to <br /> provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles, certain <br /> improvements are needed within the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br /> Funds are now needed for the design and construction of signals, road <br /> improvements, and storm sewers. These funds are available from the <br /> Local Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated <br /> and ordered set apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the <br /> project in the amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
