REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 8, 2020 220 <br />AGENDA REVIEW MEETING <br />The Agenda Review Session of the Board of Public Works scheduled for December 3, 2020 was <br />cancelled. <br />REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 8, 2020 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, <br />December 8, 2020, by Board President Gary A. Gilot. The meeting was streamed live to the <br />public with Board President Gary A. Gilot and Board Members Elizabeth Maradik, Joseph <br />Molnar, and Jordan Gathers present. Mr. Gathers confirmed the presence of the members with a <br />roll call. Also present was Board Attorney Clara McDaniels and Clerk of the Board Linda <br />Martin. Mr. Gilot stated if there was anyone present in the virtual meeting that had comments for <br />the Board to please present them through the live Q&A feature, adding he can't see people and <br />may miss someone wishing to address the Board. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the <br />minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board held on November 24, 2020, were approved. <br />APPROVE 2021 BOARD OF WORKS MEETING SCHEDULES <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the Board <br />approved the meeting schedules for the 2021 Claims Review, Agenda Review, and Regular <br />Meetings of the Board of Works. <br />APPPROVE 2021 CITY EMPLOYEE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE <br />In a memo to the Board, Mr. Dan Parker, City Controller, presented the proposed 2021 City <br />Employee Holiday Schedule, approved by the Mayor's Office. Upon a motion by Ms. Maradik, <br />seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the holiday schedule was approved as <br />presented. <br />OPENING OF APPLICATIONS — WATER WORKS UTILITY SERVICE LINE REPAIR <br />PROGRAM <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed applications for the Qualified Vendor <br />List for the for the above referenced program. The Clerk tendered proof of publication of Notice <br />in the South Bend Tribune, which was found to be sufficient. The following applications were <br />opened, and the names of the vendors publicly read: <br />BOB FRAME PLUMBING SERVICES, INC. <br />2442 Jaclyn Ct. <br />South Bend, IN 46614-3700 <br />NIEZGODSKI PLUMBING, INC. <br />232 N. Mayflower Rd. <br />South Bend, IN 46619 <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the <br />above applications were referred to Water Works and Engineering for review and <br />recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS — NORTH SHORE DRIVE BANK STABILIZATION — PROJECT NO. <br />I I8-005A (PR-00005053) <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project. <br />The Clerk tendered proof of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune, which was found <br />to be sufficient.
