JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> A Bill to voluntarily annex into the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana has been filed for lots 8 and 9 of the Town of <br /> Schroederville which is contiguous to the City limits. That <br /> Bill should be heard by the Common Council on September 12, <br /> 1988. <br /> The land in question would then be subject to this <br /> requested rezoning of "B" Residence District (Sec. 21-12) <br /> and "B" Height and Area District (Sec. 21-53 et seq. ) <br /> It is believed that the proposed rezoning is the <br /> highest and best use for the area in question. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br /> the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> SECTION I. Ordinance No. 4990-68, as amended which is <br /> the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is <br /> hereby amended in order tha the zoning classification of the <br /> following described real estate in the City of South Bend, <br /> St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, <br /> Lots 8 and 9, <br /> Town of Schroederville, <br /> Clay Township, <br /> St. Joseph County, Indiana, <br /> which is to be voluntarily annexed into the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana, be and hereby established as "B" Residential, <br /> "B" Height and Area. <br /> SECTION II.
