RESOLUTION NO. 3107 A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION ORGANIZATION WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission "), the governing body of the South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment (the "Department') and of the Redevelopment District of the City of South Bend, Indiana (the "Redevelopment District'), exists and operates under the provisions of I.C. 36 -7 -14, as amended from time to time (the "Act') and is a body corporate and politic; and WHEREAS, the Commission may dispose of property acquired for use in the redevelopment of areas needing redevelopment on the terms and conditions that the Commission considers best for the City of South Bend (the "City') and its inhabitants pursuant to I.C. 36 -7 -14 12.2; and WHEREAS, the Commission determines that the transfer of the property identified in Exhibit A (the '`Property ") to the Northeast Neighborhood Organization, Inc., (the "NNRO ") will serve the redevelopment of the area and be in the best interest of the City and its inhabitants. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The transfer of the Property described at Exhibit A situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission to the Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Organization, Inc., shall be, and hereby is, authorized and approved. 2. Donald Inks, a member of the Department, is appointed and authorized to act on behalf of the Commission in executing any documents necessary to effect the intent of the Commission, pursuant to the terms and conditions evidenced by this Resolution. 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption by the Commission. The transfer of the Property shall not be effective until deeds are duly recorded effecting the same. ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on November 29, 2012, at 1308 County-City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN 46601.
