ORDINANCE NO. l`"r u e -g 9 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $23,515. 36 FROM <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT <br /> R & S 8902, RAILROAD CROSSINGS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS <br /> WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In the best interest of public safety, it is necessary to <br /> improve railroad crossings at various locations within the City of <br /> South Bend. Funds are now needed for the cost of construction on <br /> this project. These funds are available from the Local Road and <br /> Street Fund. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated <br /> and ordered set apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the <br /> project in the amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
