ORDINANCE NO. 1 q 5 b9 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $305, 000. 00 FROM <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT <br /> R&S 8901, WIDENING AND LIGHTING OF CLEVELAND <br /> AND BRICK, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and to <br /> provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles, certain <br /> improvements are necessary at the intersection of Cleveland and Brick <br /> Roads within the City of South Bend. <br /> Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of construction of <br /> this project. These funds are available from the Local Road and <br /> Street Fund. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated <br /> and ordered set apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the <br /> project in the amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
