EJCDC ENGINEERS JOINT CONTRACT DOCUMENTS COMMITTEE This is Appendix 1, Engineer's Standard Hourly Rates, referred to in and part of the Short Form of Agreement between Owner and Engineer for Professional Services dated December 17, 2020 . s Standard Hourly Rates A. Standard Hourly Rates: 1. Standard Hourly Rates are set forth in this Appendix 1 and include salaries and wages paid to personnel in each billing class plus the cost of customary and statutory benefits, general and administrative overhead, non -project operating costs, and operating margin or profit. 2. The Standard Hourly Rates apply only as specified in Paragraphs 7.01 and 7.02, and are subject to annual review and adjustment. 3. Rate schedule adjustments will be made based on the 12 month percent change, as of December 31, 20XX, as compared to he previous year as listed in the "Employment Cost Index Wage and Salaries (not seasonally adjusted), for private industry worker, professional, scientific and technical services", as issued each December by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistic, Base=December 2005=100 (ECI). The effective date of the rate schedule adjustment shall be December, 20XX of each subsequent year and not less than 12 months from the agreement date. B.
