EN/119 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL <br /> APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM THE SOUTH BEND HAZ-MAT <br /> FUND. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The Common Council believes that it is in the best interest of <br /> public health, safety and welfare that $10,000 be appropriated from <br /> the South Bend Haz-Mat Fund for the purchase of two encapsulated <br /> suits to be used by the Haz-Mat Team. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br /> of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from the <br /> Haz-Mat Fund, Fund No. 289, to be used by the Fire Department for the <br /> purchase of encapsulated suits for use by Haz-Mat Team members. <br /> SECTION II.
