• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 006 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $125 ,000 . 00 FROM <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT <br /> R&S 8905 , VARIOUS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, WITHIN <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and prosed traffic demands and to <br /> provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain <br /> improvements are needed within the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br /> Funds are now needed for the design and construction of signals and <br /> road improvements , including road widening. These funds are <br /> available from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section I . The following sum of money is hereby appro- <br /> priated and ordered set apart from the Local Road and Street Fund <br /> for the project in the amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
