Hickory Road, City of South Bend - APC <br /> #1249-89 <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> The above referenced ordinance and site development plan of Superior Properties <br /> was legally advertised May 4, 1989 and May 6, 1989. The Area Plan Commission <br /> gave it a public hearing on May 16, 1989, at which time the following action was <br /> taken: <br /> Upon a motion by John DeLee, being seconded by Sean Coleman and unanimously <br /> carried, the proposed ordinance and site development plan of Superior <br /> Properties to zone from "A" Residential , "A" Height and Area to "B" Residential, <br /> "B" Height and Area, property located at 1007 N. Hickory Road, City of South <br /> Bend is sent to the Common Council with a favorable recommendation, subject to a <br /> final site development plan. This site fronts on Hickory Road, a four-lane <br /> arterial road and backs up to a subdivision of single-family homes. In the <br /> Commission's opinion, an office development, as proposed, would be an <br /> appropriate use for the property. <br /> PLEASE NOTE that the Ordinance has been amended by the petitioner and is <br /> different than that used for the Common Council 's first reading. The amended <br /> Ordinance was the Ordinance legally advertised and heard by the Area Plan <br /> Commission. <br /> Serving: South Bend, Lakeville, New Carlisle, North Liberty, Roseland & St. Joseph County, IN <br />
