SOUTH BEND,IN 46614, COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT COUNCIL DISTRICT#6 IN THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND,INDIANA <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The zoning of property,6420 US 31 S, South Bend, IN 46614 is zoned residential. We are proposing <br /> to have it rezoned as Local Business. The new purpose of this property will change from a residence to a <br /> business, Chickadee's Gift Shop,which has to be relocated from 5613 US 31 S. South Bend, IN 46614 <br /> due to the new 31 Bypass Project <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana as follows: <br /> SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 9495-04,is amended,which ordinance is commonly known as the <br /> Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend,Indiana,be and the same hereby is amended in order that <br /> the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph <br /> County, State of Indiana: <br /> The part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 2,Township 36 North,Range 2 East, <br /> Centre Township,St.Joseph County,Indiana,which is described as beginning at the southwest <br /> corner of Lot Numbered 132 as shown on the plat of Whitcomb and Keller's Southmoor, recorded <br /> in the Office of the Recorder of St.Joseph County,Indiana; thence East along the south line of said <br /> plat,270.50 feet; thence South 00 degrees 52 minutes 17 seconds East, 149.54 feet; thence West <br /> 312.15 feet; thence North 14 degrees 45 minutes 10 seconds East,along the easterly right-of-way of <br /> U.S.31, 154.63 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> Excluding that portion of the above referenced property located outside of the <br /> corporate limits of the City of South Bend. <br /> be and the same is hereby established as Local Business(LB) <br /> SECTION II.
