While Solid Waste crews normally do not collect trash on <br /> Friday, they will do so on Friday,November 16, to keep pickup on track for the week. <br /> Regularly scheduled pickup will resume the week of November 19 for collection days <br /> Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday collection day will occur on Friday, <br /> November 23 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. <br /> Residents are also reminded that yard waste is still collected, automatically each week, on <br /> the same day as regular trash pickup. Yard waste should be bagged and placed curbside <br /> for collection. All yard waste is recycled at the City of South Bend's Organic Resource <br /> Facility. The City encourages the use of paper bags as an alternative to plastic bags for <br /> yard waste.
