BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1°Y9- (q0 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $254,385. 00 FROM THE EMERGENCY <br /> MEDICAL SERVICES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND TO <br /> DEFRAY FIRE DEPARTMENT EXPENSES <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Monies available in the Emergency <br /> Medical Services Capital Improvement Fund are now needed in order to <br /> make payments due on lease-purchase agreement and to purchase <br /> equipment. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of $254,385. 00 is hereby appropriated from <br /> the Emergency Medical Services Capital Improvement Fund No. 288 to be <br /> administered by the Fire Department and distributed as set forth <br /> below: <br /> 288. 000. 16. 04399.00 Other contractuals $ 234,085.00 <br /> 288. 000. 16.04429.00 Other equipment 20,300.00 <br /> TOTAL $ 254,385.00 <br /> SECTION II.
