<br /> AN ORDINANCE MAKING TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS TO
<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 7998-89 FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES
<br /> AND WAGES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS AND NON-BARGAINING
<br /> EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
<br /> FOR THE CALENDAR YEARS OF 1990 , 1991 AND 1992
<br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
<br /> The purpose of this Ordinance is to make technical
<br /> corrections to Ordinance No. 7998-89 fixing the maximum salaries and
<br /> wages of appointed officers and non-bargaining employees of the City
<br /> of South Bend, Indiana, for the calendar years of 1990, 1991 and 1992
<br /> by eliminating clerical errors and inadvertent omissions.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
<br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> SECTION I. Ordinance No. 7998-89 is amended in its entirety
<br /> as follows:
<br /> SECTION I. For calendar years 1990 , 1991, 1992 maximum base
<br /> salaries and wages for the following appointed officers and employees
<br /> of the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be no more than as listed
<br /> below in this section; provided, however, that nothing herein shall
<br /> exclude the applicability of Section VII and VIII of this ordinance,
<br /> should the events set forth herein occur.
