The City of South Bend Fire Department deployed an <br /> ambulance attached to a task force headed to Atlantic City,New Jersey on Sunday to help <br /> local authorities with responding to ambulance calls and providing EMS support for rescue <br /> activities. These crews will remain deployed in New Jersey until the end of this week. <br /> An additional three fire fighters were deployed with the District 2 All Hazards Incident <br /> Management Team because of a request by the state of Maryland.
