14 RESOLUTION NO. 178 A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO APPROVE AND EXECUTE DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE DAVITA F. J. NIMTZ PARKWAY MINOR AND RATIFYING ACTION WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority ") has been created pursuant to Ind. Code § 36 -7 -14.5 (the "Act ") as a separate body, corporate and politic, and as an instrumentality of the City of South Bend, Indiana (the "City ") to finance local public improvements for lease to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission ") on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment; and WHEREAS, the Authority holds title to certain real property within the Blackthorn Corporate Office Park commonly described as Lot 2 -CC in the Blackthorn Corporate Office Park and has filed a request to re -plat a part of said Lot as the Davita F.J. Nimtz Parkway Minor replat; and WHEREAS, the Authority has caused the said Lot to be surveyed and sub - divided as indicated on the Davita F.J. Nimtz Parkway Minor, and WHEREAS, Abonmarche Consultants, Inc. has prepared the Davita F.J. Nimtz Parkway Minor and has presented it to Donald Inks, the Director of Economic Development for the Commission to execute on behalf of the Authority, which has been done; and WHEREAS, to effect the re -plat, the Authority desires to expressly authorize the Director of Economic Development for the Commission to execute such administrative documents as necessary to complete the re -plat of the Property on the Authority's behalf and to ratify the Director's actions to date; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS: I. The Director of Economic Development, Donald E. Inks is hereby authorized to execute the Davita F.J. Nimtz Parkway Minor and his execution thereof is hereby ratified by the Authority and he is further authorized to perform, on behalf of the Authority, all acts and to execute all approvals necessary to complete the re- platting process for Davita F.J. Nimtz Parkway Minor. C, 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its adoption.
