The Area Plan <br /> Commission at its public hearing on October 16, 1990, took the following <br /> action: <br /> Upon a motion by Charles Landesman, being seconded <br /> by Harold Means and unanimously carried, the <br /> proposed ordinance initiated by the Area Plan <br /> Commission to zone from "A" Residential, "A" Height <br /> and Area to "D" Light Industrial , "A" Height and <br /> Area, property located at the area generally bounded <br /> by the airport , Olive Road, U.S. 20, and Old <br /> Cleveland Road, City of South Bend, is sent to the <br /> Common Council with a favorable recommendation, as <br /> amended. When property is annexed into the City, it <br /> comes in zoned "A" Residential. This rezoning is <br /> • necessary to appropriately zone the newly annexed <br /> area for its intended uses as set out in the Airport <br /> 2010 Plan. <br /> The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in <br /> arriving at the above decision are shown in the minutes of the public <br /> hearing, and will be forwarded to you at a later date to be made a part of <br /> this report.
