The attached substitute resolution addresses those concerns. The resolution amends former Section II by including language that the appointment of the Council Attorney would be subject to a satisfactory annual performance review by the Common Council, which shall be completed on or before September 30~' which would be a part of the annual budget process. The measurable outcomes utilized by the Common Council would include a satisfactory completion of the duties set forth in the South Bend Municipal Code § 2-7(b). We would like to thank Council Members White and Puzzello for their input on this amendatory language. We respectfully request the support of all members of the South Bend Common Council.
