BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. S"/9 '9 I <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 19, SECTION 2-213 <br /> ENTITLED "SCHEDULE OF ORDINANCE AND CODE VIOLATIONS" <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The Truck Route Ordinance passed by the Common Council in 1986 <br /> and subsequently amended in 1988, set forth a penalty provision of fifty <br /> dollars ($50.00) for the first offense, one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the <br /> second offense, and two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) for the third and <br /> subsequent offenses. <br /> In reviewing the Schedule of Ordinance and Code Violations set forth <br /> in Section 2-213 of the Municipal Code, it was noted that the fifty dollar <br /> ($50.00) citation was not listed in such schedule. <br /> The following Bill incorporates the fifty dollar ($50.00) Ordinance <br /> violation, thereby permitting the Violations Clerk to receive payment for <br /> such violations. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows: <br /> SECTION I. Chapter 2, Article 19, Section 213 (a) is amended in part by <br /> the addition of the following: <br /> Municipal Code Section Type of Violation Penalty <br /> Section 20-109.7 Truck Route $50.00 <br /> SECTION II.
