ORDINANCE NO. 1 S 3~-oB <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $2,900 FROM THE MORRIS <br />PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AND PALAIS ROYALE MARKETING FUND <br />(FUND NUMBER 273) FOR PURCHASE OF MORRIS PERFORMING ARTS <br />CENTER TICKET STOCK <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />The Morris Performing Arts Center and Palais Royale Marketing Fund <br />(Fund No. 273) was established for marketing and promoting of the Morris <br />Performing Arts Center and Palais Royale. The marketing fund accrues from the <br />solicitation of funding for commercial promotion sponsorships and Morris <br />marquee sponsorships. <br />Pursuant to Ordinance No. 9768-07, the Morris Center has solicited and <br />acquired funds for sponsorship of Morris Performing Arts Center ticket stock and <br />hereby requests those funds to be released to purchase said ticket stock. The <br />amount of $2,900 is requested for appropriation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section I. The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and <br />ordered set apart from and within the Morris Performing Arts Center and Palais <br />Royale-Marketing Fund for the purchase of Morris Performing Arts Center ticket <br />stock. <br />Account Number Description Amount <br />273 Morris Performing Arts Center $2,900 <br />And Palais Royale Marketing Fund <br />Section II.
