Joint Meeting of the Personnel&Finance Committee <br /> and the Health&Public Safety Committee <br /> 2005 South Bend Common Council <br /> The June 13, 2005 joint meeting of the Personnel and Finance Committee and the Health <br /> and Public Safety Committee was called to order by Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> Chairperson, Council Member Roland Kelly at 5:17 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting <br /> Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Pfeifer, Kelly, Puzzello, Dieter, <br /> Varner, Kuspa, White and Rouse; City Clerk John Voorde, Rita Kopola, Martha Lewis, and <br /> Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney. <br /> Council Member Kelly stated that the only item to come before the joint committee <br /> meeting was Bill No. 05-73 which would appoint an agent/negotiator to represent the Common <br /> Council and address an Advisory City Negotiating Team for the 2005 Fire and Police <br /> Department negotiations. <br /> Council President Pfeifer stated that the resolution needs to be acted upon officially <br /> tonight by the Council. <br /> Council Member White made a motion seconded by Council Member Kuspa that Bill <br /> No. 05-73 be recommended favorably to the Common Council.
