Klosinski, P.E., Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: American Electric Power Contribution-in-Aid of Construction Agreements <br />PR-00005428 (DFO) <br />Agenda Request – Service Agreement <br />DATE: November 13, 2020 <br />The Department of Public Works Division of Engineering and Division of Utilities requests <br />the Board of Public Works approval of two (2) Contribution-in-Aid of Construction <br />Agreements with American Electric Power / Indiana Michigan Power for the demolition of <br />existing, obsolete transformers and relocation of an existing 2000 kVA transformer as part <br />of the utility’s required electrical changes for Project No. 117-132 Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant Electrical Improvements. <br />Agreement 1 <br />American Electric Power will remove the existing primary feed and 1,000 kVA pad <br />transformer at the Re-Use Water Pump Station Building at the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant. <br />Total Cost: $4,359.28 <br />Agreement 2 <br />American Electric Power will relocate the primary feed and the existing 2,000 kVA pad <br />transformer (that was replaced in 2018) at the Compressor Building and remove the 750 <br />kVA pad transformer at the Degrit Building at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. <br />Total Cost: $11,173.07 <br />Total Cost for Agreement 1 and Agreement 2: $15,532.35 <br />Funding for this work will be out of Sewage Works Operations, Public Works, Sewage <br />Works, Wastewater, Services and Charges, Repairs and Maintenance-Building, R&M <br />Account 641-06-605-514-436001. <br />For questions regarding the subject agenda request, contact Jacob M.
