Floor to be sloped to the <br />door. 6,000 square inch minimum debris filter screen, <br />rear dump design with hydraulic tilt and hydraulic open, <br />close, and lock of the rear door. Hopper to include <br />vibration system to help remove debris. Hopper to <br />include access doors on both sides for manual loading of <br />large debris. Hopper to include a drain to remove excess <br />liquid. Hopper must have adequate number of water <br />spray nozzles to help wash debris from the hopper when <br />at the dump site. Hopper to include a deluge washout <br />system. Unit must be equipped with debris deflector to <br />prevent sand blasting of the hopper interior. All <br />hydraulic controls to be located directly behind cab. All <br />openings shall be air tight by the use of rubber seals. All <br />sweeper hydraulics to be powered by the auxiliary <br />engine. Hopper to include "Hopper Full" indicator to <br />indicate when hopper has reached the maximum legal <br />weight limit of the chassis bid. To permit longer life and <br />lower the cost of operation, the entire debris hopper, <br />excluding inlet wear plate and exhaust screens, shall <br />carry a lifetime warranty as long as the customer owns <br />the sweeper. The warranty shall include, but not be <br />limited to, the floor, sides, roof, rear door and access <br />doors. The warranty shall cover rust, corrosion and <br />abrasion perforation, including normal wear and tear. <br />Manufacturer will be financially responsible for all <br />repairs, parts and labor, including protective coatings for <br />the life of the sweeper. 100% parts and labor with no <br />pro -rating or hour limitations. Vendor to be responsible <br />for all transportation of the unit for all warranty repairs. <br />Vendors shall supply with their bids, warranty <br />statements from the manufacturer in complete <br />compliance with the published warranty <br />specifications. Failure to do so will deem your bid as <br />non responsive. <br />Engine: <br />Power shall be supplied by a heavy-duty turbo charged, <br />/ NO <br />wet sleeved industrial diesel engine. Shall have a five <br />year 5,000 hour manufacturer's warranty. Engine shall <br />be four cylinder, four cycle, water cooled and antifreeze <br />protected to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Engine shall have <br />115 minimum horse power, John Deere 4045T or equal. <br />Sweeper to have a variable working speed from engine <br />idle to 2,000 rpm. The engine must conform to current <br />EPA regulations. No exception to this environmental <br />legislation will be permitted. The unit shall be capable <br />
