14 <br />the vacuum nozzle. Hose construction to be 11" <br />minimum inside diameter flexible rubber, steel <br />reinforced. Nozzles to have front flapper type door <br />controlled by the drive to vacuum leaves and larger <br />debris. The nozzles shall extend a minimum of 15 inches <br />and be capable of being deployed concurrently for <br />simultaneous sweeping. <br />M/ NO <br />Full Width <br />Sweeper to include a second set of nozzles to provide a <br />Vacuum Nozzle <br />minimum of 8 feet wide pure vacuum sweeping path. <br />Regenerative type hoods are not acceptable. These <br />nozzles shall be of the same construction and operation <br />as the standard nozzles including internal water jets. All <br />nozzles to use quick disconnect type connections for ease <br />of conversion. Conversion of nozzles to take no longer <br />than 60 minutes. <br />Water System: <br />Frame mounted rustproof polyethylene or equal 330 <br />YES NO <br />gallon minimum capacity tank. Water tanks shall not <br />have a common wall with the hopper and shall not raise <br />with the hopper. An 80 mesh cleanable filter to be <br />located between the tank and pump accessible at ground <br />level. Water pump to be hydraulically driven with <br />automatic shut off when tank is empty. The operator <br />control panel to include a low water indicator light, and <br />spray nozzle control switches for each function. All <br />nozzles to be removable for cleaning, vendor to indicate <br />number and location of nozzles along with approximate <br />time to empty one full tank of water with all nozzles in <br />operation. Unit to include a front bumper mounted spray <br />bar. System to include an air purge system to flush water <br />lines during freezing conditions. A 25 foot minimum <br />hydrant fill hose and hydrant wrench shall be supplied in <br />a storage rack. To permit longer life and a lower cost of <br />operation, the sweeper's water tank shall carry a lifetime <br />warranty as long as the customer owns the sweeper. <br />Warranty shall include and not be limited to rust, <br />corrosion and abrasion perforation, cracking, warping, <br />melting, LTV damage, etc. Manufacturer will be <br />financially responsible for all repairs, parts and labor. <br />100% parts and labor with no pro-rating or hour <br />limitations acceptable.
