Any developement at this location, especially with entrances /exits
on these
side streets would greatly increase traffic and make these very narrow
streets
dangerous. This is a small community with children and elderly people who
ride
bikes and walk these streets; there are no side walks. Its dangerous enough
as it
is with out increasing traffic. Please come out and see for yourself, I will
be glad to show you the neighborhood and talk to you.
I am told the developer is Mr. Cooreman. All he cares about is selling,
building,
and making money and not the harm it will do to the people of this
neighborhood.
No we don't have a lot of money like Mr. Cooreman, but we are hard working,
tax
paying, voters ! Don't we mater ? Why does everything have to be about the
money? How about doing what's right and fair for the people. This location
is just
not right for any high volume business, restaurant or etc.... Deveoopement
belongs
down the street on Portage and Cleveland rd. west. Everyone in the
neighborhood
has concerns, some different. Have you ever been out behind or down wind of
a
restaurant and smelled the garbage and trash ? We don't want this at our back
yards; however I'm mostly concerned about people short- cutting through our
neighborhood making it unsafe for the kids.
don't believe anyone here would object to a low volume business such
as; a
law office, insurance office, real estate office, etc... As long as there
are no exits/
entrances to the side streets. Another safety issue is traffic on Cleveland
rd. and
people entering and exiting the business.
Please vote NO to this proposed re- zoning and developement. Thank
you.
(s.w.corner Lilac /Mays)
6:00 weekdays
James Blye
52577 Lilac rd.
ph. 243 -1269 after
or sat. < /HTML>
