4111, SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE NO. Rai-so -9a. AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CONCERNING THE TRANSFER OF PARK PROPERTY TO THE SOUTH BEND COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The South Bend Community School Corporation desires to expand the campus of its Edison Middle School. This expansion includes acquisition of certain real property owned and controlled by the City of South Bend Park Department. The School Corporation has proposed. making and paying for certain capital improvements to that portion of Edison Park which is leased to and controlled by the City' s Park Department, in exchange for the transfer to it of the land needed for the expansion of the. Edison Middle School campus.. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the City owns for the use of the.
