Street Side CPR Seat - Hybrid 3 ATD instrumented with head, chest, and <br />pelvic accelerometers, upper neck load cell, chest potentiometer, lumbar load cell, <br />and femur load cells. <br />4. Attendant Seat EuroSID 2 ATD instrumented with head accelerometers, <br />upper neck, abdomen, and pubic load cells, and rib potentiometers. <br />For the purpose of determining PASS FAIL results the Injury Assessment <br />Reference Values (IARVs) from FMVSS 208, FMVSS 214 and the Insurance <br />Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) shall be used. A test report from a third party <br />testing agency independent of the ambulance manufacturer shall be submitted <br />with the bid response proving compliance to this requirement. <br />The above requirements are in addition to the current minimum requirements for <br />testing as outlined in KKK-A-1822. <br />Additionally, all welders employed by the primary manufacturer shall be certified <br />to the American Welding Society Standard AWSD12, and certification documents <br />must be provided if requested. <br />All body welds shall not only be inspected by the primary manufacturer but shall <br />also be inspected by an outside engineering firm and said firm shall conduct <br />another visual inspection and a dye penetration test designed to reveal any flaws <br />or imperfections in the welds. Documentation on this process must be provided if <br />requested. . <br />VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE <br />All parts of the ambulance body, as specified in paragraph 3.10.6 of Federal <br />Specification KKK-A-1822-F, shall, where applicable, be of welded construction. <br />Where fasteners are used in such areas as hinge attachment, hardware attachment, <br />etc., the fasteners shall be ceramic coated aluminum and stainless steel. Any hole <br />drilled into the modular body painted surface shall be coated with an ECK <br />corrosion inhibitor prior to installation of the part. . <br />Tapping plates of 6061-T6 alloy aluminum varying in widths of one quarter to <br />one half inch shall be welded to the framing to secure the installation of <br />equipment such as; cabinets, benches, partitions, cylinders, cot fasteners, etc. The <br />body and panel joints shall be watertight and all openings between the chassis and <br />10070-0003 11 /05/20 <br />12 <br />
