2021 International MV/PL Custom Titan 170 <br />Type I Ambulance Proposal Specification <br /> <br /> <br />A5347-0002 11/05/20 <br />36 <br /> <br />EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEMS <br /> <br />HEADLIGHT WARNING SYSTEM <br /> <br />HEADLIGHT FLASHER: <br /> <br />A Sound Off, Inc., headlight flasher shall be installed to alternately flash the vehicles high beam lights. The unit shall be <br />hermetically sealed solid state unit controlled by a single pole lighted switch in the driver's console. The circuit shall b e <br />relay controlled. The unit shall be installed per manufacturer’s recommendations and shall not affect the vehicles lighting <br />system. The unit shall be disabled when the headlight switch is on. <br /> <br />A Sound Off, Inc., headlight flasher shall be set to the "ETM", 215 FPM. <br /> <br /> <br />SIREN W ARNING SYSTEM <br /> <br />LIGHTED HORN/SIREN SWITCH: <br /> <br />A switch shall be installed in the drivers console to select between OEM Horn ring function of the vehicle Horn or Horn <br />ring activation of the Siren. The switch shall have a lighted indicator and control a SPST relay located within the electrical <br />distribution cabinet. A relay controlled circuit is required to eliminate any potential voltage drop problems due to high <br />amperage draw of the OEM Horns. <br /> <br />ELECTRONIC SIREN: <br /> <br />A Federal Signal Model PA 300-MSB Electronic Siren shall be provided and installed flush in the driver’s console. The <br />siren shall include standard siren tones, public address, air horn, and radio rebroadcast. The siren shall be backlit for <br />night operation and include a hard wired microphone. <br /> <br /> <br />SIREN SPEAKER SYSTEM <br /> <br />THRU- BUMPER MOUNTED SPEAKER SYSTEM: <br /> <br />The front bumper of the vehicle shall be equipped with two (2) Cast Products Model SAD/P #4318 speaker assemblies. <br />The speakers shall be mounted in the front bumper and not require the chrome bumper to be cut or modified. The <br />speaker assemblies shall include two (2) high efficiency 100 watt speaker drivers. <br /> <br />FRONT LIGHTBAR WARNING EQUIPMENT <br /> -No front Lightbar required- <br /> <br /> <br />CAB MOUNTED WARNING LIGHTS <br /> <br />FLASHING LIGHTS, GRILL: <br /> <br />Two (2) lights shall be placed in the grille of the vehicle in flange housings. The lights shall be located <br /> <br />In the upper, portion of the grille area, set a minimum of 18” apart. <br />
