6

Page #: 38

Header: 7.12 Compartment Illumination

Exception: PL Custom offers as a standard vertical LED lights strips, located on
the back side of compartment door jamb openings. This provides an even
distribution of lighting for the compartment vs. a light located in the ceiling or
side wall that can be obscured by equipment blocking it.

Page #: 39

Header: 7.16 SCBA Mounting Plate

Exception: Specification request a full wall width mounting plate. We have
proposed angled corner mounting brackets for your SCBA brackets allowing
better utilization of space in the compartment. See our proposal drawings.

Page #: 40

Header: 7.20 Side Body Seam

Exception: PL Custom uses a 1 piece, .125” side wall skin that does not require a
seam to be welded.

Page #: 40

Header: 7.21 Rear Bumper

Exception: PL Custom uses a very Heavy Walled Aluminum Tubing to construct
the rear bumper assembly, alleviating dissimilar metals. The bumper system also
sits under the rear body panels, eliminating the bumper from being pushed into
the ambulance body during impact and thus avoiding rear body damage from a
minor to moderate impact. Bumper pods are constructed of a thick wall ADP vs.
Cast aluminum. Rear Kick plate is a recessed component that allows for the flip
up step to recessed flush when flipped up.

Page #: 41

Header: 7.26 Driver and Passenger Chassis Steps

Exception: Due to the fuel and DEF tanks being located under the driver side cab
door step, an ADP step cover will be provided on the driver side and the battery
box with an ADP step cover will be located on the passenger side under the cab
door.
