In addition, there shall be a switch in the action area switch console that <br />activates a buzzer in the driver's compartment. These lights and buzzer shall be <br />used to notify the driver of any change in the patient's status. <br /> Y___N___ <br /> <br />24.8 RADIO WIRING <br /> <br />Radio wiring as follows: <br /> <br />1. 10-gauge A+ to console with ignition. <br />2. 8-gauge A+ and A- to console in cab, hot. <br />3. 8-gauge A+ and A- to radio compartment in box, hot. <br />4. Three (3) antenna accesses will be provided inside box: front-center, middle- <br />center, and rear-center. <br />5. Two (2) RG-58 cables installed at rear-center and middle-center access <br />points with NMO-style antenna mounts. Both will be run to radio <br />compartment. Antenna cables will have 18” excess at both ends. <br />6. Wiring for the intercom system for cab and patient compartment to be <br />determined at the pre-build meeting. Department will supply components of <br />intercom system. 10 conductor strobe cables shall be run from center console <br />to action area and from action area to radio housing at end of squad bench. <br /> <br /> Y___N___ <br /> <br />24.9 FIRE EXTINGUISHERS <br /> <br />Two (2) 5-pound rated ABC fire extinguishers with mounting brackets shall be <br />furnished with the ambulance. These shall be shipped loose to allow the department <br />to install in the desired locations. <br /> Y___N___ <br />24.9.1 Two (2) Two (2) Streamlight, model #SL-20-X handheld flashlights, each with <br />charger base, shall be provided. Mounting location shall be one (1) on the driver <br />side front console located directly behind the gear shift selector and one (1) located <br />in the rearward ALS health center located halfway up. <br /> Y___N___ <br />25.0 MODULE SURFACE PREPARATION <br /> <br />A corrosion inhibitor shall be used on specified exterior surfaces and on specified <br />fasteners, hinges and accessories that are subject to the effects of corrosion due to <br />the electrolytic process that occurs between dissimilar metals. The product, <br />designated as ECK, is a petroleum-based substance with a very slow rate of <br />desiccation. The substance functions as a barrier to water, thus minimizing the <br />electrolytic process. It shall be applied in the following conditions and to the <br />following accessories and fasteners: <br /> <br />1. Behind stone guards or any other surface area where there is direct contact <br />between dissimilar metals is direct contact between dissimilar metals. <br />2.
