22.9.1 There shall be three (3) 3/8” flip-up Plexiglas doors. <br /> Y___N___ <br />22.9.2 A stainless Steel Round Southco latch (or equal) shall be provided on each <br />door. <br /> Y___N___ <br /> <br />23.0 IV HOLDERS <br /> <br />Four [4] ceiling mounted Cast Products 2008-1 recessed IV holders shall be <br />supplied. These shall be located at the head and foot areas, two [2] over the squad <br />bench and two [2] over the primary cot. They shall have a rubber, foldaway storage <br />when not in use. Each holder must have the capacity to hold two [2] bottles and <br />have Velcro securing straps. <br /> Y___N___ <br /> <br />23.1 COT MOUNT <br /> <br />A Stryker Power Load cot mount shall be supplied. It must accommodate the Stryker <br />Power Pro XT. <br /> Y___N___ <br />The cot mount shall be located in the center of the patient compartment. <br /> Y___N___ <br />23.2 ASSIST RAILS <br /> <br />One [1] 90" long, 1.50" diameter, smooth satin finished overhead grab rail shall be <br />provided and securely fastened to the ceiling over the primary cot. One [1] 60" long, <br />1.50" diameter, smooth satin finished overhead grab rail shall be provided and <br />securely fastened over the squad bench. The grab rails shall be fastened with bolts, <br />washers and nuts of the appropriate dimension, through the interior ceiling panel and <br />through the .090” aluminum accessory plate welded into the roof structure. Assist <br />rails fastened with self-tapping machine screws are not acceptable. These grab rails <br />must meet or exceed AMD Standard 008, Load Test for Ambulance Patient <br />Compartment Grab Rail. <br /> Y___N___ <br />23.3 SIGN <br /> <br />Two self-adhesive "NO SMOKING OXYGEN EQUIPPED" and "FASTEN <br />SEATBELT" sign (1) shall be installed in the 1st action area. <br /> Y___N___ <br /> <br />24.0 OXYGEN <br /> <br />The medical oxygen system shall be capable of storing and supplying a minimum of <br />3000 liters of oxygen. A suitable high-pressure hose shall be provided. The <br />concealed oxygen supply hose shall be .250” ID, .50” OD nylon base with polyester <br />fiber reinforcing. This electrically conductive hose shall be certified to 1,875 psi and <br />have a 7,500-pound burst rating. The fittings shall be DISS and flare and be <br />securely crimped to the barbed fittings by means of compressed copper sleeves. <br />Oxygen supply hose shall be routed through the ceiling of the ambulance body and <br />be secured with non-abrasive plastic "C" clamps. Oxygen lines should not be <br />encased in insulation and should be free moving to enable easier maintenance and <br />repair. The entire oxygen system shall be subjected to a 155-psi leak test for 24- <br />hours before installation of panels or covers that may obscure or hide the system <br />components. After the vehicle is completed, a test as prescribed by AMD Standard <br />015 shall be conducted for a period of four (4) hours to insure system integrity. This
