It shall protect the vertical surfaces from scratches, <br />marks and debris and shall be easily cleaned. <br /> Y___N___ <br /> <br />10.4 INTERIOR COLORS AND MATERIAL <br /> <br />The Formica color for all cabinets within the patient compartment shall be Stone <br />Graffix #503 (Grey/White). <br /> Y___N___ <br />10.4.1 The Formica shall have a matte finish. <br /> Y___N___ <br />10.4.2 The LonPlate II brand flooring color shall be Gun Metal (dark gray) #424. <br /> Y___N___ <br />10.4.3 The upholstery color shall be Gunmetal #MV102 (Dark Gray). <br /> Y___N___ <br />11.0 LEFT SIDE CABINETRY <br /> <br /> <br />11.1 ACTION AREA <br /> <br />An efficient and accessible action area shall be located to the right of the attendant <br />seat. Oxygen and suction/aspiration equipment outlets shall be readily accessible. It <br />shall provide a counter for the attendant's use. The counter shall have a 3/4" lip to <br />prevent items from falling. For the attendant's safety, the foremost vertical leading <br />edge and top horizontal edge of the action area cabinet shall be trimmed with fabric <br />backed padded vinyl. The foam padding shall be 3/8" high-density foam and shall <br />have a R-factor of 0.25. All seams are to be machine stitched for proper fit and <br />durability. <br /> Y___N___ <br /> <br />11.2 ACTION AREA CONTROL PANEL <br /> <br />All patient compartment lighting, environmental equipment and other indicators and <br />controls critical to the care of the patient shall be controlled from a switching console <br />located to the right side of the rear facing Technician’s seat. The switch console <br />shall be located in a cabinet face cut at an approximate 30-degree angle above the <br />action area and below the overhead cabinet. The switch panel is designed to <br />provide easy operation and high visibility from either the rear facing Technician’s <br />seat or side mounted CPR seat. To facilitate easy troubleshooting and maintenance <br />or repair, the controls for all ambulance conversion functions shall be basic, <br />automotive style, non-programmable type controls. This type of control mechanism <br />can be easily repaired by department maintenance personnel and does not require <br />electronic interaction with a third party for programming or problem solving. The <br />switches shall be moisture resistant, Euro-style, rocker-type, and shall be UL listed <br />and CSA approved. Each switch shall have one or more LED indicator lights integral <br />to the switch rocker indicating the function status. Switches may be simple ON/OFF <br />type or multi-position rockers or rotary, stepped-position switches, depending upon <br />their specific function. The switch function legends shall be engraved plastic inserts. <br />The backlighting shall light the words themselves rather than the background. <br />Backlighting and switch perimeter lighting shall be accomplished with electro- <br />luminescent light strips attached to the backside of the switch panel. This type of light <br />source shall be used for consistent light output, low amp draw, and extended service
