Test Lab <br />AL ACC Climate Control, Inc. <br />AM D001 <br />6 of 43 <br />Issue Date: 080904 <br />Revision Date: 111011 <br />Initial: ;W AM D STANDARD 001 (REV F) <br />Date: 11/20/2013 Ambulance Body Structure Static Load Test <br />Procedures & Test Results - Side Load Type I & III only <br />5.16 04 For continued testing on a Type I & II module pull module out from under test fixture and flip <br />onto its side (either). <br />5.17 Follow Test Set -Up steps 4.1 thru 4.9. <br />5.18 While force application plate is suspended in the air zero all load cell meters. <br />5.19 With all the vehicle doors closed lower the force application plate until 500 lbs. registers on the <br />meters and take initial deflection measurements. <br />5.20 04 Record elevation readings of all four corners of the roof, and on the three dial indicators. <br />5.21 04 Apply 1.25 x's the curb weight of the completed ambulance to the side structure. <br />5.22 Record elevation readings of all four corners of the sides, and on the three dial indicators. <br />5.23 $4 Apply 2.5 x's the curb weight of the completed ambulance to the side structure. <br />5.24 Record elevation readings of all four corners of the sides, and on the three dial indicators. <br />5.25 With full load applied open and close all unblocked exit doors. <br />5.26 Check for any structural or component damage while load is applied. <br />5.27 Release load until only 500 lbs. remains <br />5.2a Record elevation readings of all four corners of the roof, and on the three dial indicators. <br />5.29 Raise the force application plate sufficiently to work under.
