AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND ENGINEER FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THIS IS AN AGREEMENT effective as of _________________________________ (“Effective Date”) between Board of Public Works, City of South Bend, Indiana ("Owner") and Jones Petrie Rafinski Corporation (“Engineer”). Owner's Project, of which Engineer's services under this Agreement are a part, is generally identified as follows: South Bend Guard Rail Replacement and Repairs (“Project"). Engineer’s Services under this Agreement are generally identified as follows: The City of South Bend requested additional guardrail improvements to be added to the City of South Bend Guard Rail Replacement, #118-084 project documents. The additional guardrail replacement to be added to this project are as follows: 1. Ironwood Between Tracks and Jefferson - east side (St. Anthony School Playground) (Immediate Repair); This additional guardrail will be added to the previously prepared Construction Documents that included the following guardrail locations: 1. Angela Boulevard at Lafayette Boulevard; 2. Harris St. Dead End (vicinity of 524 Harris Street); 3. Walnut Street at Ford Street; 4. Walnut Street at the Norfolk Southern Railroad; 5. Lathrop Drive at Brookfield Street, south side; 6. Darden Road at Riverside Drive; 7. Sample Street at Walnut Street. The railroad coordination/permitting is known to be under a new format and JPR will be required to resubmit the proposed improvements through this new application/permit process. The estimated fees provide in this amendment does not include the Railroad permit fee to be paid by the City of South Bend.
