1¢X (d) Registration and permits for plumbing services. <br /> (1) Definitions. As used in this subsection, the following <br /> words shall have the following meanings: <br /> 1$% a. Plumbing services: The construction, <br /> installation, removal, alteration, repair, remodeling, or removal and <br /> replacement, or the causing of such work to be done, for any <br /> plumbing, gas, or drainage equipment, or any water softening or <br /> conditioning or water sprinkler equipment or apparatus within or <br /> adjacent to any building or premises. <br /> 116X b. Excavator: A person who installs sewers or <br /> drainage systems and/or devices, such as drain basins, drywalls, <br /> storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and septic tanks. <br /> f¢J c. Journeyman plumber: A person who holds an Indiana <br /> license and who engages or offers to engage in, as an occupation or <br /> trade, plumbing services under the supervision, direction and <br /> responsibility of a licensed plumbing contractor. <br /> (01 d. Maintenance technician: A person who is employed <br /> on a permanent basis to keep the premises of a commercial business <br /> establishment of multifamily residential establishment in good <br /> repair. <br /> ;(¢l e. Plumbing contractor: A person who holds an <br /> Indiana license and who, for compensation, undertakes to or submits a <br /> bid to or does himself or by others perform plumbing services and who <br /> is responsible for substantially all of the plumbing services within <br /> the entire project, or one who fabricates units of plumbing <br /> substantially completed and ready for installation. <br /> f. Sewer cleaners: A person who cleans or otherwise <br /> repairs sewers. <br /> (2) Registration required: <br /> ( }' a.
